Workshop Essentials
-
This five-day, four-night retreat offers an immersive opportunity to explore the transformative potential of Grof® Breathwork, the experiential practice developed by Stanislav and Christina Grof. Designed for both newcomers and experienced breathers, the retreat provides a safe, supportive environment for self-exploration, healing, and personal growth.
Grof® Breathwork combines accelerated breathing, evocative music, focused bodywork when needed, creative expression, and integration practices to facilitate expanded states of awareness. Within this supportive setting, participants may encounter profound emotional, psychological, somatic, spiritual, or transpersonal experiences that can lead to greater insight, healing, and connection.
Over the course of the retreat, participants will take part in four Grof® Breathwork sessions—two as a breather and two as a sitter. The breather role allows for direct engagement with the process, while the sitter role offers an opportunity to provide attentive, non-interfering support for another participant's journey. Both roles are considered essential aspects of the Grof® Breathwork experience.
In addition to the breathwork sessions, the retreat includes orientation and preparation, mandala drawing, integration practices, group sharing opportunities, nourishing meals, and ample time for rest and reflection.
