The intention of these recordings are to help you to bring yourself closer to who you are. There is no better time than this moment to listen to them. Take a moment out of your busy day and settle in just for a few minutes to be with yourself. Use these anytime you feel disconnected from yourself. Day or night. You can listen to them while sitting or laying down. These are tools that you can use anytime you need a little reset; a moment away from your busy mind into the present moment.
When you get ready to practice, I suggest that if you are sitting down, take a good posture, with your back straight, shoulders down, relax your face, take a deep breath and notice yourself sitting on a chair or a cushion. By adjusting yourself to a comfortable sitting position, you are inviting your body to join you into a meditative state. When you feel settled in press play and follow the sound of my voice. If you are listening to them laying down, take a moment to relax your body, your shoulders, your jaw, your legs, take a deep breath and press play, follow my voice.

Decisions, decisions ...
A choice was made, a decision was in place, an action took place. It changed my destiny. It was not easy.
Moving to the United States in 1992 was quite a decision making. Not just by me alone, it involved my whole family, an entire system. Some decisions in life emanate from a structure that we have been born into. Often we make choices while we are not fully aware of the forces behind them, and we later wonder how we ended up where we are today.

I was there, I prayed, meditated …
I was nineteen years old; it was an afternoon like any other. Most days, visitors would drop by for an afternoon tea: friends, relatives, and the like. Being Persian, hospitality is a big part of our culture, guests are always welcome in our households.

And the judge spoke . . .
I thought I could say this, but then I couldn’t.
Perfection is behind the fear lurking around and is not setting me free to write what I want to write.
